Wikipedia research
I've been analyzing the Wikipedia project since 2006, from many different perspectives.
My PhD dissertation, published under a CC-BY-SA 3.0 license and available here, was the first comprehensive analysis presenting a side-by-side comparison of the top 10 language versions of Wikipedia (according to their number of articles, as of December 2007). You can learn additional details about this work, and related publications in my profile, at Libresoft website.
The ultimate goal of this work was to improve our understanding of this flagship project in today's Internet, standing as the 5th most popular website according to Alexa's ranking of top websites, and receiving +400 million petitions per month.
